healing work is worth it, but it really sucks. for me, it looks like examining the patterns of what i chase and what i run from, working in various modalities to see and name the root causes, and being brave enough to try doing something different, one moment at a time.

this song is about waking up sick in the head, sweaty and scared, and holding my breath. this song is about shaking off dreams about ghosts. this song is about how clenching my jaw ultimately leads me to prayer.
